1.89, 108, 127, 146, 219, 426mm and other models, the core pipe sleeve is a section of pipe connected to the upper part of the drill bit to contain and protect the core in the core drilling.
2.Core pipe casing is a section of pipe connected to the upper part of the bit to contain and protect the core in core drilling. When drilling, it also plays the role of guiding the drill tool.
An ordinary core tube is just a seamless steel pipe with wire buckles at both ends, and the diameter is slightly smaller than the drill diameter (2 to 4 mm smaller).
The single core pipe is 3 to 45 meters long, and several core pipes can be connected to prevent the bending of the drilling hole to form a long coarse diameter drilling tool. Special core tubes are often used in special formations (such as loose and broken formations), such as double core tubes. Support various models customized.
• Oil & Gas Drilling:
1. Surface casing: Protects the loose formation near the wellhead, isolates the surface water layer, and supports the subsequent drilling equipment.
2. Technical casing: Isolate dangerous sections in complex formations (such as high-pressure layers, collapsing layers, salt gypsum layers) to prevent well leakage, blowout or stuck drilling, and ensure drilling safety.
3. Production casing: Descends into the destination layer to support the wellbore during the oil and gas extraction phase, providing access for the installation of tubing and packers, and isolating different oil or water layers.
Construction of water and geothermal wells
1. In the well, the casing is used to protect the well wall, prevent the collapse of the loose soil layer or aquifer, and isolate the polluted layer at the same time to ensure that the water quality is clean.
2. In geothermal wells, the casing bears high temperature and high pressure environment, supports the well wall and isolates different thermal reservoirs, and ensures the stable exploitation of geothermal resources.
• Mining & Underground Engineering
1. During the construction of metal mines, coal mine shafts or inclined shafts, casing reinforces the shaft wall to prevent rock layer fragmentation or groundwater infiltration, and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
2. During the construction of underground tunnels and culverts, if loose or broken strata are encountered, they can be temporarily supported by casing (or casing strings) to assist the excavation operation.
• Construction & Foundation Engineering
1. In pile foundation construction, casing is used to assist in hole formation and prevent the collapse of soft soil layers, especially in the construction of cast-in-place piles (such as a full set of pipe drilling rigs).
2. In underground diaphragm wall, foundation pit support and other projects, the casing can be used as a temporary wall protection structure to ensure the stability of the trench or hole.
